- PT Sulung Segarjaya excavated 47,803 items from the sea of Batu Hitam, Belitung Island with license No.09/PM/BMKT/9/1998 dated 21 September 1998
- The excavation was executed with the cooperation between PT Sulung Segarjaya and Seabed Exploration Gmbh (Tillman Walterfang).
- After excavation PT Sulung Segarjaya requested to the Indonesian Government (Panitia Nasional) to bring the Cargo of 47,803 to various countries such as; Germany, Japan, New Zealand with reasoning for Desalination and to study the antiquities of the Items.
- The Government agreed the above request with letters as follows; *to Germany letter No: SI-156/PN-BMKT/12/1998 dtd 08/12/1998, *to Japan letter No: SI-33/PN/BMKT/4/1999 dated 01/04/1999 and *to New Zealand letter No: SI-38/PN/BMKT/4/1999 dated 08/04/1999. In each and every letter, the Government stated clearly in the above letters that the Cargo have to be returned to Indonesia.
- After the change off the Soeharto regime in 1999. The Government Office “Panitia Nasional” was moved from the Ministry of Politics and Security to the Ministry of Sea and Fishery.
- In 2003, a Mr Safri Burhanuddin (an Officer in the Panitia Nasional) was send by the Government to New Zealand to inspect the Tang Cargo and to bring the cargo back to Indonesia as stated clearly in the Approval letters above.
- Instead the Cargo was manipulated and sold without any auction as clearly stated in the Presidential Decree No: 25/1992. The cargo was sold to Tillman Walterfang, and the exact sale value is unknown until todate. But we received information that it was sold for US$ 2,5million?
- The above transaction is illegal and is done by corrupted Indonesian Official at that time.
- Latter Tillman Walterfang sold the cargo to the Singapore Government for a staggering amount of US$ 34 Million (or More?)
- Therefore the Tang Cargo is Problematic, due to the fact that the Cargo was sold illegally by the corrupted Indonesian Officials at that time.
- I will make a book about the above with detailed proof so that the world know that the Tang Cargo in Singapore was sold illegally!!!
